Our Scandinavian office is celebrating its 1-year anniversary today, 1st June. We have formed many new and exciting relationships and our first handful of projects are nearing completion. We would like to mention a couple of these and thank all of our wonderful design partners for a great collaboration so far:
The Fantastic Tree:
Working with industrial designers Pivot, interaction designer Nick Stevens, artist Kevin Iris, graphic designers at Commando Group and exhibition designer Ole Martin Lislevand, the exhibition “the Fantastic Tree” at the Norwegian Forestry Museum is taking shape. The exhibition tells the story of how a tree works, its different parts and how the different seasons affect it. At the heart of the space stands a full size tree made out of 800 aluminium tubes, and equally many points of light. Our task is to bring the tree and the space to life.
Swedish Oil and Gas giant Lundin is expanding into a new office space in Lysaker, Norway. We are involved in the lighting for the reception space and the kinetic installation called Breaking the Surface. The kinetic installation has already been widely featured in the design press on pages such as Arch Daily and Wired. We are collaborating closely with interior architects IARK, brand designers Scandinavian Design Group and architects Design og Interiør on the project.
We will keep working with the most exciting and innovative design studios in the region and we are looking forward to year two! Watch this space for more project announcements coming soon.
