Project: Port Baku Residence
Light Bureau are working closely with architects and landscape designers Broadway Malyan to develop a sustainable and visually exciting lighting Masterplan for a large scale residential-led development in the historic city of Baku, Azerbaijan.
With unobstructed views of the Caspian Sea, the design has been developed to exploit every opportunity available within the constraints of this unique site. The projects vision is to provide a complex that introduces a new way of living for the local residents of Baku; providing them with larger living spaces, private and functional outdoor spaces, premium interior finishes and an unrivalled quality of construction.
The lighting design re-enforces the design aspiration by providing an exciting night-time environment that maximises the commercial feasibility by enticing people to use the exterior spaces after darkness.
Light Bureau are currently engaged to design the public realm, a landscaped podium, 3 types of private roof terraces, residential entrance lobby and external façade lighting to the 3 residential towers.
Energy consumption is minimized by a cleverly designed lighting control strategy whilst light sources is / will be positioned to minimize light pollution.
