Project: Battersea Reach Block A
Speculative high-end residential development for developer St George limited. Lighting design duties included providing a flexible and sustainable lighting design solution for the contemporary typical apartments and penthouses. Working closely with Interior designers Taylor Howse Design, Light Bureau blurred the boundaries between lighting design and interior design by utilizing low energy sources discreetly located within ceiling and joinery cove details. These details provide contrast, drama and visual interest often associated with a residential design.
The reception, concierge and lift lobbies also formed part of the scope of works and Light Bureau once more took advantage of hidden luminaires, revealing texture by grazing light across feature walls and utilizing coffer details. The concierge desk draws focus with the use of feature pendant luminaires and a rear illuminated onyx wall.
