Project: Aviva Garden
Temporary garden installation in City of London.
Utilizing low energy sources exclusively, including LED, linear/compact fluorescent and metal halide, the garden is designed to be sustainable and create interest by subtle colour-shift on the glowing glass panels between white and amber. A sophisticated astronomical time control system limits operating time strictly to occupied hours during Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year. It is not expected that any of the lamp sources will be replaced during the (approximately) 4 year life of the garden.
