Project: Parkhill Spa
An exclusive and luxury grand spa set within the New Forest as part of Le Poussin’s elegant georgian country manor hotel, formerly a hunting lodge for the Duke of Clarence.
The overall design concept of the spa was to intrinsically connect the interior to its surroundings with the choice of native materials from the region. The lighting concept was to subtely highlight these surfaces and textures and create an atmospheric and dramatic space in which to experience the treatments in.
The result was achieved by utilising lighting integrated into the architectural details such as floor coves, low level lighting within walls and steps and minimal lighting incorporated into the timber beams.
